Matthew was professional, prompt and highly talented in bringing this project together for our school. The students loved seeing their own images come to life, and the final product was both creative and meaningful. I would highly recommend Matthew to run this session, as well as any other AI professional learning or student workshops he may offer.

Ar What an afternoon at the Make AI Movies workshop! 🎬

Matthew Donaldson taught teachers how to build original characters from scratch — designing a look and style, creating a character sheet, giving them a custom voice, and then bringing it all together to have their character perform an action on screen.

Watching educators go from a blank page to a fully realised, animated character in one session was brilliant. It's a great reminder of how accessible these AI tools have become — and how quickly they can translate into classroom-ready ideas for storytelling, media arts, and digital literacy units.
Huge thanks to everyone who came along and dove in headfirst, and to our presenter for making it such a hands-on, practical session.
